Terms of Service

1. Quotes

Voltech provides written, fixed-price quotes valid for 30 days. Quotes are based on a visual inspection at the time of quoting. If hidden conditions are encountered (e.g. asbestos, rodent damage, undocumented existing wiring), we'll stop and discuss revised pricing before proceeding.

2. Payment

Payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, tap-and-pay and bank transfer. Trade and property-management accounts may be invoiced on 7-day terms.

3. Workmanship warranty

Voltech provides a lifetime workmanship warranty on all installations. If anything we install fails because of how we installed it, we'll come back and fix it at no charge to you. Manufacturer warranties on parts (RCBOs, smoke alarms, fans, etc.) are passed through to you.

4. Cancellations

If you need to cancel a booked job, please give us 24 hours notice. Same-day cancellations may incur a fee equivalent to our minimum service-call charge.

5. Property and safety

Voltech complies with all Australian Standards and the QLD Electrical Safety Act. We will not perform work that is unsafe or non-compliant. We reserve the right to refuse work where conditions on-site present a serious risk to ourselves or to occupants.

6. Liability

Voltech carries $20M public liability insurance. Our liability for any claim is limited to repairing or replacing the affected work, except where a higher liability is required by law.

7. Disputes

We aim to resolve any concerns directly. If you're not satisfied, please contact us. Unresolved disputes can be escalated to the QLD Electrical Safety Office.
